1. Sign in

Open Ankk Threads and continue with Google. Normal users cannot create an email/password account. The temporary test login is only for accounts created by an administrator for provider review.

2. Connect Threads

Open Settings → Threads accounts and choose Connect Threads. Meta shows the permissions requested by the product. After the callback, verify that the profile appears as healthy and review its token expiry and missing-permission status.

The one-time 14-day trial starts when this first Threads connection succeeds, not when the Google user is created.

3. Create and verify an operation

Open Publishing, choose the connected profile, and create a draft. A media file is uploaded directly to the product R2 bucket with a short-lived signed request; the product verifies ownership and metadata before the upload can be attached.

Publishing is asynchronous. A queued or accepted request is not proof that Meta published it. Follow the canonical job until it reaches a terminal state and use the provider permalink as the final result.

4. Continue the loop

• Conversations collects replies and mentions for review and response.
• Listening discovers explicitly registered eligible public profiles.
• Analytics stores account and post snapshots for the selected period.
• Notifications shows product outcomes that need attention.
• API keys and Webhooks connect external automation to the same user-owned state.

Every connected profile, content item, job, notification, API key, and webhook belongs directly to the signed-in user. An identifier from another user is rejected even when its shape is valid.
